Default Fireballs

Why is it that everybody in the blasting industry seems to use hydrocarbon based fireballs, they produce that thick black smoke. Most people in the pyro field have switched to cremora coffee creamer in a 5 gallon plastic bucket with 8 oz of 4 F black powder on the bottom for lift, its evironmentally friendly and produces one hell of a fireball that has no flaming residue.

Fireballs!!!! Linears, Det-cord, Nonels and the like make enough flash and bang for free. I know of no explosive demolitionists that need additional liability with "fireballs".
Your statement may have been better presented by "suggesting" that if shooters would appreciate an environmental friendly sideshow to try your idea.
I appreciate the idea though! There are many variables also!

Agreed Blast1. In the State of New Jersey the use of a hydrocarbon effect would be considered a hazardous spill ( anything greater than one quart). They could call in the Hazmat Team.

That and you have the unsightly problem of the debris pile on fire after the shot.

Agreed. It just doesn't look environmentally pretty.
