Here's a potential moneysaver:
Ask friends, relatives, or even people around the neighborhood, if thay want anything out of the house, be it sinks, doors, windows, elec. fixtures, wall studs, trim, etc.
The more things you give away, the less you'll have to haul to the dump.
More ideas, just ideas:
If allowed in your area, you could hold a "demo sale", like a yard sale, to sell off things like wood, bricks, etc.
While you're asking people if thay want anything, also ask if thay want to help you bring down the house.
As for general demo: A Sawzall and an assortment of blades. Keep a pliers handy as you use it, as the blade tends to bent sometimes; the pliers is to unbend it.
Rent one of those big rolloff dumpsters to dump the demo junk in; it may be more worthwhile to do that than to haul the junk yourself in your own vehicle.
