Talking Hi Guys and Girls (if there are any)

Cool!
A Demolition forum! I take my hat off to you!

Anyway!
My names Ian, i am a machine driver now but i have spent a good time in demo and enjoyed every minit! (apart from pay day)
Did a lot of work in London for most of the big hitters as a Top Man, Burner and machine driver!
When i started we used an old 11RB on the back of an old (i think it was an Albion) truck with wind down outriggers and an old Cat 951 manual! (if we were really lucky we got a Poclain 90)
I finished full time Demo a last year on the Stock Exchange with Keltbray!
Looking for work now if any of you know someone!
I hope the wages have gone up!

Welcome to the forum, Digger Driver. I take it you're in merry old England, because I know you call them diggers on the other side of the pond. So, was that the London Stock Exchange you took down? How did that job go?

Hey Wolf!
It was a good job!
The main structure was just a cut and carve! (a complete strip down to concrete) for refurbishment!
But the exchange floor (where the hob nobs scream "Buy Buy sell sell") was mostly big machine work with munchers and shears!
Great work in the city though because its full of hot women!

My claim to fame was knocking the top secret MI5 building (the James Bond one)
That was just off Picadilly!
A huge 7 storey building with a 2 storey bomb shelter built into it!
The walls were 7 foot thick with re-bars like hair!
It took 9 months to knock and 3 months of that was a 350 Cat and an O&K RH30 with hammers on breaking the bomb shelter!

I had my biggest splash on that job!
A 3 storey 200 foot length of wall dropped in one go! (I was a bit nervous cutting the legs on that one)
You couldn't see the job for 5 minits until the dust cleared!

It sounds like you do some really cool demo. James Bond building sounds awesome. Would have loved to see that splash. Great that you enjoy the scenery working in the city too. Do you have any pictures of your demo (and the scenery going by on the street wouldn't be to bad to see either). Welcome to the forum.
