This project was my biggest battle ever. It took 4 days for NYDOT to approve a plan none of them had any idea about. Christmas Eve had the Lead Engineer knock on my door for $13,000 for??? I worked Christmas Day and got more work done than any day!
They pissed my wife off so much, she never even went to the NY side and let the Governor of Vermont push the button.. It was sad that an emergency job wasn't treated as such and left to the experts. The fight still continues...stay tuned. All the negative media was based on incorrect BS. AED did not prime the demo work, Sessler did. The trades cried that an out of state contractor got the job...and the tears go on!
