I don't get it. I watched the video 3 times and didn't hear one mention of the Demolition contractor (LVI) who actually had the job. Then I read this press release and there is no mention of Loazo doing the job. What gives???
Let me ask you this, if you are writing a press release and you had a considerable amounts of saw cutting being done by a sub-contractor, would you mention them in the press release?
I know that comparing saw cutting sub and implosion sub are different in “stature”
How about if you were a lowly subcontractor working on a project for a high profile Contractor and had to write a press release? Would you include the Contractor in your press release?
I personally have written several press releases that did not include the general contractor’s name nor any subs that were working for us.
It seems like when the general contractor finishes a project and they write a press release, they list everybody but the demolition contractor. They always list the mechanical and electrical contractors. Yes I know that M&E are the “main” subs on a project, but hell we were there too!
But James, in corporate materials do you list the contractor you worked for? What's the difference?
This is a very small industry. Everyone knows who is working for whom on any given job. Any omission is blatant and is an obvious slap in the face.

It all boils down to ego and arrogance.
In my brochure I list the jobs that I have completed or that I am currently working on. I list the contractors in my reference section not in my completed/current jobs section.
I don't think its arrogance or ego. To me, when I present myself/or company to a new client or contractor do they really care what contractors I have worked for in the past? Or do they care what projects I have done in the past? Most if you ask me, care if I have done similar projects in size or dollar amount and am/is I/or company capable of completing the project on-time and under budget.
I am not buying what you are selling. What does it hurt to give a plug to the people you worked with on the job?
Why didn't Loazo on the "Today" show give LVI a plug? It seems to me it might just be good for future business.
Imagine this, <this is a big secret you only learned if you have an MBA> If Loazo had mentioned LVI then maybe LVI would have included them in their press releases. Viola!! Both companies would have doubled their media exposure.
