Construction worker injured in school demolition collapse

A construction worker has been injured after part of a concrete section collapsed during the demolition of a school.
The man was working on the old Gartree High School building in Oadby in Leicestershire, England when the accident happened yesterday.
The man, who was trapped after the collapse, had to be rescued by fire crews and specialists using slings, chains and airbags.
He has now been taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
