To me it looks the door closes in, which would require some one coming out to get it. Not a chance.

I looked my self crosseyed, but if you watch it you will see the det cord going off (around 00:14 sec on the 38 sec video) and then some movement of the door and immediately after, a puff from a charge just to the right of the door. With all of that air movement and vibration it just seems logical to me that it is coincidence, but I understand the need to verify.

Thanks for snapping us back to reality, rdz! You're right, it was a very nice shot. Very symmetrically done. Kudos to Dykon!

Do you really think there was somebody in there? That seems so ridiculous, but I guess if you wanna kill yourself, it would be a wild and crazy way to go.

Default The search has ended

The search and mystery surrounding implosion of the Crowne Plaza began after home video showed some sort of figure running inside the doomed structure.

The video was shot from a floor on Saint Luke's Medical tower across the street from the hotel.

Some thought that moving image was a door swinging shut during the implosion.

Although no one could identify the image, officials decided to stop the clean-up and launch a search.

After days of searching, nothing was found.

On Monday, officials ordered search dogs and detectives to leave the site.

The demolition company was ordered to continue their clean-up.
