Oh what a crock. I was involved with an implosion where an outside consultant was brought in and did air sampling at 24 hours prior, a 3 hour window during the blast, and sampling 24 hours after. The samples were placed in a 1/2 mile radius around the site, including the roof of the building right next door.

The results, while the measurable dust levels were high during the blast within 100 feet, everything else was low. The only location where lead was measurable was at a site where the owner had been working on the house. Everything else, including asbestos was well below EPA, OSHA, and DNR standards if measurable at all!

Kind of odd that the complaint is coming from a guy who does air monitoring for a business.....

I would bet he's trying to get media attention for his company or sour grapes if he bid on the Sands contract and didn't get it
