Performance Contracting Group acquires Democon, LLC
Performance Contracting Group (PCG) announced that it has acquired Democon, LLC, a demolition company specializing in selective and complete building demolition services. The new company, renamed PCI Democon, is based in Woodinville, WA.
Performance Abatement Services (PAS), a PCG company, has worked closely with Democon, for several years in the Seattle area. Because of their great working relationship, joining forces seemed like the best approach for them to maximize their combined construction capabilities, enhance their competitiveness in the market and offer improved services to their customers.
Guy Hampton, owner of Democon, started the business in 1996 and grew the company to become a leader in the demolition industry throughout the Pacific Northwest. "I couldn't be more excited about this acquisition and the opportunities it offers not only my employees but our customers as well," said Hampton. "I started Democon with the intent to build a company that stood for honesty, integrity and quality. I feel that PCG offers these same principles and I look forward to growing and expanding PCI Democon to be the leader in this industry." Guy will be the Area Manager for PCI Democon and manage the company from their main office located in Woodinville.
Over the years Democon has acquired expertise in complete building demolition and selective interior demolition. The company has extensive experience in the demolition of difficult projects requiring the skills of experienced management and field personnel. In addition to demolition, Democon also provides drop box services for recycling and disposal of job site debris. They service both the residential and commercial market in the Pacific Northwest. PCI Democon will continue to expand this division of the company in order to service the demands of their customers.
