Default Kodak Announces New Implosion Dates

Kodak has released the new date for the demolition of Kodak Park Buildings 65 and 69.

The implosion at the corner of West Ridge Road and Dewey Avenue is set for this Saturday, October 6 at 7:30 a.m.

Contractors delayed the original date by two weeks to finish prep work.

Building 65 once housed Kodak's photofinishing operations, while Building 69, known by many as the "Sugar Cube" was home to Kodak research and development.

Saturday's demolition is the next chapter in Kodak's transition from film to digital.
Kodak has set aside a public viewing area in a parking lot at the corner of Eastman Avenue and Goodwill Street
