Demolition crew finds body in home about to be razed
A Buffalo, NY city demolition crew discovered the body of a man inside a fire-damaged home that was slated to be torn down Saturday.
Homicide detectives are attempting to determine whether the man, found in 54
Lawrence Place, was homeless or the victim of foul play.
“At this point, all we can say is that the investigation is pending,” said Buffalo Police spokesman Michael J. De- George. “We don’t know yet what happened to this man.”
DeGeorge said the house was badly damaged in a fire Wednesday and was to be torn down Saturday.
