Default PA Turnpike Blast

If the weather holds it looks like the first of a couple spans of the PA turnpike are going to be shot this morning. It seems like they never stop working on this road.

Default Pa TP Update

Comments:
Update: Canceled for today rescheduled for Wednesday: The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission reports that all Interstate 76 traffic approaching the Susquehanna River Bridge will be slowed for up to 15 minutes between 10:00 am. and 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22nd to facilitate the safe demolition of a portion of the old Susquehanna River Bridge. State police will conduct the traffic pace to keep vehicles away from the new bridge as a part of the old bridge is removed near the West Shore. State Troopers will initiate the traffic pace on each side of the river by slowing down approaching traffic to 25 miles per hour or less. The pace will begin for westbound Interstate 76 traffic just past the Lebanon-Lancaster exit and the eastbound pace will start just past the Carlisle exit. The pace will also affect Turnpike traffic entering eastbound at Harrisburg West (Exit #242) and traffic entering westbound at Harrisburg East (Exit #247). During the paces, traffic getting on the Turnpike at these two interchanges will be temporarily stopped at the on-ramps.
