Demolition work began on what was once one of Tulsa's most upscale hotels.
The eight-story Camelot Hotel along Interstate 44 will be brought down at a cost estimated around one million dollars.
Guests at the hotel have included Elvis Presley and President Richard Nixon but the hotel has been empty for several years. It will be sold for redevelopment after it's demolished.
The work will begin with the removal of asbestos and the hotel is expected to be completely removed in September.
