Another Bridge Blast

It looks like the PA Turnpike is one of those highways that is always in a constant state of construction. They blasted one bridge on the Turnpike in western PA last weekend. This weekend they are going to do another on the other end.

That area got hit with a foot of snow and a couple of inches of ice on Friday.

The weather has been crazy back there. There is something about bridges for me.

I flew back from a project on Friday and just by the good grace of God I made it. There were hundreds of cancellations of flights in the NE alone, which affects air travel everywhere else in the country.

If you like bridge demolition, there are going to be a couple of humdoozies coming out for bid between now and July. One is a really cool suspension bridge.
