Default John P. Grace Memorial Bridge Implosion

Talk about a tight schedule for Testa on the removal of the debris.

It's all the more impressive because the debris is under water so the operators pretty much have to operate "blind".

I had to drive a moving van over that bridge before they opened the new one up. It was pretty sketchy. The bridge was definately on it's last legs.

Looks like they have failed twice on the removal of the debris. We knew it was going to be tough.

That article seems a little bit melodramatic. "Slicing ships hulls like a can opener....."
I thought they had everything out in time. I guess the side scan sonar must have picked up a bunch more debris. Whatever happened to the days when they dragged a 6X6 suspended by 2 chains over the site to ensure you met the limits of removal?
