Default Risk Management Building Implosion

I was in Charlotte a couple of days ago and stayed in a hotel near this building. It looks like it is going to be a pretty awesome implosion. It's being imploded to make way for the new NASCAR Hall of Fame. Does anybody have any further details? The hotel manager told me it's going to be quite the celebration.

400 East 2nd street. Its a big modernistic mirrored building with a lowrise parking garage next to it and surrounded by vacant lots.

Someone told me it was once voted Charlottes's "Most Ugly Building".

Just a guess, the former Duke Power building, but I can't find a photo of it on the net. Address is Second and College.

I found this half picture. It's the building in the back.
