Default Med Center building implosion set for Today
A segment of the Texas Medical Center area will be closed around dawn Sunday to traffic and pedestrians as demolition crews prepare to implode the Methodist Hospital West Pavilion Professional Building, 6448 Fannin.
The 22-story building, formerly Diagnostic Clinic, will be replaced by a 1.5-million square foot outpatient center with a 1,300-car garage.
