We are working on a project where the concrete floor varies about 5" from one side of the building to the other. In one particular area, about 1200 sf, they would like to remove about 2" from the 6" slab on grade.

I plan on setting the depth of a concrete saw 2" and making a checker board out of it and chipping away. Does anyone have any other ideas?
