Just an update...
The U.S. Navy site has posted this message:
"e-Sol has reached the end of it's life cycle and will no longer be used to post NAVFAC’s solicitations and procurement related information. This site will continue to provide information on the actions currently posted but no further procurement actions will be posted at this site effective 31 December 2007. Any solicitation posted between today and December 31, 2007 must close before March 1, 2008. No amendments may be posted that extend the closing date beyond 29 February, 2008. On March 1, 2008 eSol will be shutdown."
I think this has to do with compatibility issues with the fedbizopps site. It's federal law that the military procurements be centralized on fedbizopps whether they have their own procurement site or not.
They are switching over to
NECO (Navy Electronic Commerce Online) and everyone will be required to register again.
