Default New to the Business! Have alot of questions

A friend and I recently started a demolition business. We both had regular jobs but thought we could make some extra money on the side. I have about 8 years of experience around construction. My dad and grandfather both are GC's. My dad actually quit the contracting bussiness and him and my mom have another business of thier own. We have already done several jobs. We got lucky and one of our first jobs was really big! It was a commercial demo and we both profited about $2000 with only about a week of work. So we went crazy and decided to quit our "day jobs" and do demolition full time. We have ran into some problems and i have several questions which I will now list:

1. Insurance!!!! We have gotten several quotes and they are ubsurd. And to do any work for cities you have to have insurance. Anyone have a good idea on where to get cheaper insurance? I was also wondering if it would be cheaper to get a Construction Insurance policy rather than a demolition policy.

2. I get calls from people out of my area. What is a good way that I could give an over the phone estimate. Is there a general square foot or cubit foot price? Say they have a 12' x 40' mobile home with 8 ft ceilings.

I have a ton of more questions.
